Happy Thanksgiving!

I'm sitting here happily waiting for my pumpkin pies to finish cooking. We are going over to friends' house to have a big dinner - 20 folks. I'm in charge of pies. Wahoo! Catch up with you later (if I can stay awake after huge tryptophan-infused meal.)

Belatedly, Happy Thanksgiving, dear. I DID know it was yesterday (I have enough American friends and students here, and could hardly miss the fact that the American School was closed for normal business along with its coffee shop, alas, when I was there for a rehearsal yesterday.) Unfortunately the fact slipped my mind while I was writing that long rambling email earlier. Sorry!

I hope it was a wonderful day and that the dinner (at K&J's, by any chance?) was a spectacular success.

Much love,

C xxxxx

Sounds great, Elfy! We have dinner at MIL's, but I make the whole thing over again in about a week so that we'll have leftovers - I miss that Turkey sandwich! And thanks for noting the tryptophan - I always forget exactly what it is and end up saying, "Well, you know, turkey has that thing, um, begins with a "T" that makes you tired." Now I'll probably not forget it anymore. Happy Turkey Day to you.

Re: Yum!

I LOVE Thanksgiving food and I even more love the leftovers - turkey sandwiches, casserole, enchiladas, mmmm. Glad to help with your vocab. I've had that same conversation so I made sure to learn the word. Happy Turkey Day back. Did you get your computer fixed?
