Is it cheating if I ask for Elladan/Elrohir? Or one of them?
elfscribe5 at 2007-05-18 15:59 (UTC) (Link)
Ooh, why is that cheating? Okay.
In my universe:

Elladan is the more moody and intense of the two. Elrohir is more even-tempered; however he feels the guilt of their relationship more acutely.

If they were animals, Elladan would be a wolf; Elrohir an otter.

Elladan has had more dalliances but they mean less to him, while Elrohir has had fewer, but one of them was significant. Elrohir fell in love with Legolas and they had a passionate affair but he gave Legs up for his brother. (Never wrote that one up but a lot of it is in my head.)

Normally Elladan tops but occasionally Elrohir does.

They have an ability to feel each other’s sensations, which is especially handy during sex.

Like their father, they are both skilled healers and herbalists, but Elladan has focussed more on surgery for war wounds, partly due to almost losing his brother to an orc arrow.

Elladan thinks his mother loved Elrohir more. Elrohir has no clue Elladan thinks that.

As young elves, they once sewed a piece of cloth filled with honey into Erestor’s undergarments which proved most embarrassing when Erestor sat down in a Council meeting.

I think I will stop there or I’ll be writing another fic. LOL.

Am trying....

to drop different names with you all than I know you have written extensively...(even though your ouvre encompasses many, so it is hard to choose...) - Alright. How about Haldir?
elfscribe5 at 2007-05-18 16:04 (UTC) (Link)

Re: Am trying....

Mmm, Haldir. I don’t have much of a personal image for him. He only appeared once in one of my fics and now my vision is colored by other authors’ portraits of him.

In my universe, as in everyone’s, he’s fiercely loyal to Galadriel and Celeborn and dedicated to keeping Lothlorien safe.

He’s a good strategist.

I’m bookverse, in that he does not show up at Helms Deep, nor does he die. He ends up staying quite a long time in Lorien even after Galadriel has left and attends to Arwen after Aragorn dies.

He is very sexy, rather promiscuous, and had an interest in Legolas. (Who doesn’t?)

Hi Kenaz,
Nice to see you in my neighborhood! Eek, Legolas. I spent so much time with this character and there’s so much to say about him. Let's see.

He’s definitely an action elf - a strong, well trained warrior who also possesses unusual skill and grace, even for an elf. He was a bit spoiled when he was growing up. Very headstrong.

He does the right and noble thing without even thinking about it.

He shares being strong-willed with his father. When he was a young elf, the equivalent of adolescence, he and his father tangled quite a bit.

He admires artists, especially musicians *g* but doesn’t feel he has much talent in that area. His artistry is in skill at arms.

He has an older brother who is a small-minded pain in the arse.

Unlike many fanfic versions of him, my Leggy is very much a lad, masculine in a willowy, graceful way, and tops more often than not - even with Aragorn.

Also like some guys, he had a problem being in touch with his feelings, i.e. knowing if he is in love or not, even before the dragon made things that much more for difficult for him.

Gimli becomes his very good friend, but they are not lovers. His friendship with Gimli is good for him as it opens his mind up to new possibilities and ways of looking at the world.

However, as Haleth once pointed out to me, Elwin was the love of his life, despite everything. So, hopefully they would meet up again in Valinor once Legolas sails with Gimli.

Better quit there or yeah, you'll have me writing Legs again. I probably won't write a fic with him in it again, but you never know.

Oh Oromedon, I'm pleased you remember him. One of my favorite characters:

Oromedon has a sweet loving spirit, despite all the terrible things that happened to him as a youth.

His feelings for Bagoas were complicated, in that he felt protective and affectionate towards him as a substitute for his lost little brother, but he also thought of him as a lover. He also never lost sight of the fact that training Bagoas was part of his job and he had to maintain some emotional distance. He truly did fall for Bagoas, but he is a pragmatist and couldn’t allow his feelings to run away with him.

In lovemaking sessions with Darius, he rarely felt genuine pleasure. He was, however, very good at his job and convinced Darius that he (the king) was a superb lover.

His pride was hurt when Darius put him aside after he got the scar, but he never regretted saving the king from the boar.

In my universe, Oromedon meets up with Bagoas again in Alexandria, after Alexander’s death. I had part of a fic mapped out in my head, even did a bit of research regarding Alexander’s tomb and other stuff, but other things intervened.
Thanks for asking, sweetie.

Aww... I really love the way you developed Oromedon in the fic and reading this makes me want to read it again... for the third time now. I would love to see them meet again. *pets Elfscribe's muse*

Okay, since I've once again been beaten to Elladan and/or Elrohir, how about Barahir? Yours that is, not Tolkien's. **grin**

Or Ossë maybe?

elfscribe5 at 2007-05-20 17:20 (UTC) (Link)
Hi Min!
Sorry it took me a bit to get back to this. Had a long day yesterday working at a festival. Let's see, Barahir or Ossë? LOL. Bit of a contrast there. Actually I found this whole thing a very interesting exercise. Might be good to do for all our characters, huh? Helps focus our ideas about the character.

Loves fireworks.
Has a passion for elves and for his older brother.
Once gave his squad commander a blowjob and after that the man treated him very roughly.
Almost killed by an orc in the battle for Minas Tirith.
Spent a very enjoyable day with the twins several days after Aragorn and Arwen were married. On their recommendation was promoted and ended up as part of Legolas’ staff when Legs established his kingdom in Ithilien, thus proving that you can sleep your way up. Yeah, would love to write that day with Barahir as part of a twins’ sandwich but figured it would just be pure smut. Heh.

Vain, restless, with a short attention span. Would have been diagnosed with ADD in this century.
Looks like a white-haired heavy metal rock star, only prettier than most.
Like a kid who spends hours building an elaborate sand castle, only to joyfully stomp it into oblivion, he alternates between bouts of creativity, playfulness, and terribly destructive rages.
Envious of the Valar.
Took a fancy to Erestor when he rescued him and Ereinion from a shipwreck.
Likes to change into a dolphin. (Who wouldn't do that, if they could.)

Anyway, thanks for playing with me. Always fun!

And that is a problem because...? **grin**

I think you have Ossë absolutely right, too!
