Gakked from larienelengasse. I have no idea what this means but it was cool to do.

So what does that mean? Because 9 of those people are on my flist - which is not terribly large. And they're from all spectrums of my flist, many of which don't communicate with others.

Is this friends of friends? People you just haven't discovered yet, but with whom you might be friends? Slashgirls?

Apparently it just looks at the friends of your friends. Here's the explanation: http://community.livejournal.com/trustmetrics/6615.html
I do recognize most of this list as fellow slashy buds.

Well Stewardess makes perfect sense - she's got over 700 people on her flist, so she should show up a lot. Ditto Chaosmanor. A lot of these people I recognize as lotr shippers, which also makes sense.

Alexcat came up first on my list which I found interesting. I know who she is, that she lost her daughter and have even read her LJ on occasion. I just didn't realize she was a friend of so many of my friends...

I think this is like a six degrees of separation type thingie (Oh, god, you should have seen my results; they were hysterical, because I'd unfriended so many of those people :-P).

I can wholeheartedly recommend that you get Lassegalen on your flist, just so you can stay updated with her new art, which isn't often but is delightful to see pop up on one's flist *g*

I can make a couple other recommendations too, recommend against a few, and recommend a few with reservations. Let me know if that interests you, and I'll send an e-mail with the info ;)

I love Elisa's art and every once in a while go to Lassegalen's Laire. I recognize most of these folks as fellow slashy buds. If any of them want to friend me, I'm more than happy to friend back.

Wow!

This is just amazing! So many people, so little time - and I can most definitely see how it works. What a great idea. So much to explore again - I just love the internet! Cheers, E.
