I'm pleased to say that I've had two stories nominated for Middle-earth fanfiction awards:

Thanks Oshun. Actually these were the only two LOTR fics I completed this year so I'm especially pleased that people thought they were both good enough to nominate.

I know, my to-read list is getting quite long. Wonder where I'll find the time? Btw, I really liked your thought-provoking questions and will answer after I get back from a bunch of meetings today.

My wish list is not that long, * edit - that sounded really awful, I didn't mean it to. I tend to read on smaller archives, is what I mean, and like every-one, my reading time is limited. I also like to always review authors on my Recc list, if they're eligible, first of all as the MEFA's are a very public way of support and appreciation.
Your Elegy for Numenor is on my 'Must Read' list. I have read very few Numenor-based fics (apart from some that Pandë has done of Sauron there) because I associate it with being Men-centric and I gravitate to Elf-centric fics. But I know you're a wonderful author and I think it will be good for me to read something I usually don't, especially as your writing is truly superb. (And I will review on SWG )

I love Touch of a Vanished Hand; it's beautiful.

I know, so many fics, so little time.
Yay!I'm glad Elegy is on your must read list. You might consider reading it on my LJ as occasionally I have some nice pics to go with and chapter 5 has a sex scene between Ar-Pharazon and his courtesan which I cut from the SWG version (trying to keep it R rated on that site.) Just in case you're interested. *g* I'll actually be doing more of that as the story progresses, having NC17 rated scenes only on my LJ. Just fyi. Although reviews on SWG are always nice.
Also Elegy is going to have a main character who is an elf OC coming up in another couple of chapters. So, you won't totally miss out on the elves.

I started Elegy and I love it. Wow! I am not surprised it won First for Incomplete Longer works last year.

I sometimes do that, but insert them in the chapter on the archive; apparently it's okay to put images in the text body, just not on the summary where it might affect loading time -- well, on LOTRFF anyway, I am not sure about SWG. But I will keep an eye out, as I love images to go with stories!
