Hey it's October. Time to think about pumpkin carving and other peculiar rituals. I found this site tonight which has the most creative pumpkin carving ideas, in case you want to try something different from the usual. Check out the extreme pumpkin site

Yikes!! I looked at several of the pictures, though I think this one is pretty original. Wow. The pumpkin carnage one was also clever and funny.

So glad that I got to chat with you this morning! I was smiling for a couple of hours after that. :) Am going to read some of your comments now before going to bed; I can't thank you enough for your feedback and support. I'm hoping that the new Slavebreakers fic will be a kind of thank you to you, and an especially memorable one.

((((hugs))))

p.s. I saw your comment about that one picture and Photoshopping it... I could bronze up his skin but I don't know about lengthening the hair. You're so good at finding beautiful men- if you find one you would like me to make into an icon, let me know!

People are so creative, it always amazes me what they can come up with. Some of the pumpkins here are really euwww but great. It was great to talk. I'm looking forward to your slavebreakers. Drool!
Oh well, Feimo's pic would take a lot of work to get him looking like Sula, hair, clothes, skin color. Imagination is good. And yes, cruising for beautiful men is fun. I'll see about iconage. Later!

I'd say it's a cannibalistic pumpkin. :D

**snort** Am I deranged because your example made me giggle?

I loved the 'Drowning in a Bag' pumpkin, too.

**hugs**

Well now that pumpkin would freak out all the kiddies! But I will have time to actually carve a pumpkin this year, so I'll check it out.

So much fun to freak out the kiddies. I don't know if mine will carve pumpkins this year. But it's one of the rituals of Halloween that I have always loved.

I love pumpkin carving and Halloween in general, but life has gotten so crowded that I have given up so much. (Leaving my job will really help there!)

We usually get out the decorations and take them down the same day, but it's fun to put them out. We have 200+ kids every year coming in huge groups. It's pretty amazing. And they're all so cute and mostly pretty polite and awestruck by the pumpkins. *grins*

I love the cannibal pumpkin... Makes me wish I lived in a normal neighborhood where people trick or treated... Maybe I'll go hang out with some friends who live in town and borrow their kids. ;)

I think two kids came to our door last year. So sad. It's like a few weirdos doing things to candy - which may even be urban myths - and the whole culture freaks and doesn't let kids trick or treat anymore. Instead they go to the mall. Yuck. I still like carving the punkins.
